About
I always had a knack for computers, ever since I was a little kid. Throughout my vocational high school I went through a four year Programming and Web Development shop and really connected with the other students in the shop. In the shop we started with Visual Basic and went on to HTML/CSS/Javascript, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails, and Python. For Python I went onto state and National competitions in SkillsUSA, and eventually in my senior year in high school won a State and National gold medal in the Humanoid Robotics Category in Louisville, Kentucky.
Onwards to College, I sought to develop my computer skills even more, and took up a Computer Information Systems Major, and learned about MySQL Databases, Mendix developing. While also honing down on more sociable skills like teamwork, and how to fix and/or manage potential dysfunctional teams. However, there is so much more to learn in my field.
I look forward after college to develop into the computer industry, my childhood passion. This industry is always adapting, and I'm ready to adapt with it, helping to solve problems, learning new languages or skills, while also keeping my positive enthusiasm and level-headed nature.
