The Door

 Do you wish to start anew?

But scared to stand

In front of the Door of Destiny.

Your trembling fingers lay wrapped at the door handle.

Are you too afraid to open?

To a place so unknown and foreign

Where the other side could be Paradise or 

as we wait, it might manifest into our worst fears.

The dressing stabbing thoughts that lay buried. 

Deep down in the back of our skull.

Telling you to reconsider, to back away

To think there is another way

Another magical fantastical entrance into the oasis.

Holding onto this airless floating moment

To think of a patented guaranteed solution

To all our imagined hellish scenarios

That we have and have yet to experience.

But today I didn't open the door.

The door opened for me and

I held onto the hand that helped me through.

Trees of Thought

Whistling willows, barking birches surround me

Protect my solitude away from the clambering of my peers

Open my eyes to the natural beauty of the glistening leaves of a tree.

Politely put away my belongings and release my irrational social fears.

Will you watch over me? 

Please perch your cooling canopies above.

Hide me away in your soft shadows

Like a curious rabbit in its blissful burrow.

Lullaby me between your hardy boughs

Soak up my terrified rainy tears

So to secure me as you grow so magnificent and tall.

But before your leaves fall tonight.

Before the time to head home.

Teach me your patience virtue.

Your freedom from fight or flight. 

So I can fly among the skies of blue.

Future Moon

There in the window I see my reflection

How haggard worn, and torn I see.
But always still wearing a smile the happy emotion./
For all the passerby that pass me.
The road signs are toppled down
The streets full of smoking wax and crack
In this desolate place this part of town.
However still got these clothes on my back
I'm a wanderer with no place to rest.
Forever travelling down the crossroads
I set for myself to become the best
Burdened by the loads I still hold.
Here I come yesterday a stranger with no friends
But today I'm here to make amends
As I extend out my hand to lend
To the future we make together
Past all solid walls and weather
All verbal insults that think they clever.
However, whenever and wherever we be
In that window we get stronger and better
Break through climb high like a balloon
Aim higher rocket to the moon.

Carry

Let me carry 

Your baggage till the end of the day 

So the weight on your shoulders wash away 

Finding you a place to rest and lay. 

Let me carry 

You across the borders where we met 

That divide our differences and set 

And find our way outside this net. 

Let me carry 

You across this world of green and blue 

Among a variety of other hues 

Follow your heart knows true 

This love I carry for you 

So one day you carry for someone too
